SUBZERO SCANDINAVIAN BLAST
A subzero Scandinavian blast is set to hit Britain this weekend, driving the mercury below freezing.
It comes before the risk of snow in some areas next week, according to weather charts.
BBC Weather forecast Stav Danaos, said: “To end this week, and push into the weekend it will stay settled with a new area of high pressure moving down from the north but it will bring some cold air so frost and fog likely, a little bit of sunshine, but it will be chilly by day.
“This area of high pressure has been moving down from Scandinavia from Wednesday onwards.”
